The day I thought would never come has arrived. Darkness that for so long a prisoner of has been replaced with light. Mind, body, and spirit have become one. I now have hopes and dreams of tomorrow. The past no longer directs my journey. No longer sorrow bound. Every day is a new adventure to embark upon. Alive in this moment as I throttle on.

Wouldn't have it any other way
Downtime hit me really damn hard
Dues that had to be paid
Almost made a pact with the devil
Decided to ride out the storm
The dark cloud that had followed me
Finally now is gone
8 years since I broke that mirror
Ten since that black cat crossed path
Ever faithful my mistress
