Blind Justice

Bonesaw was a family man
A righteous Brother
Of the wind
He left behind
Two kids and a wife
A drunken driver
Had taken his life
They arrested the cager
Whos' name was Fred
He entered the courthouse
In a bulletproof vest
Vehicular manslaughter
Was the charge that he faced
He entered the courtroom
His head bowed in disgrace
His mouthpiece was asked
How does your client plead
"Not guilty your honor"
And the trial proceeded
Bones' wife and two kids
Sat in the front row
And the courtroom was filled
With all of his Bros
His kids sat there crying
They had just lost their dad
His wife was sedated
Her grief too much to bare
The district attorney
Presented his case
Against citizen Fred
Versus the State
Freds' lawyer had argued
That Fred had a disease
Was an unfortunate accident
And Fred should be released
The motion for dismissal
The judge would deny
Citing Freds history
Of DWI's
At the end of the trial
Fred was told to stand
The sentence pronounced
Was five years in jail
The courtroom erupted
With shouts of dismay
And a strange thing happened
As they took Fred away
Bonesaw appeared to Fred
Out of thin air
Fred clutched his chest
And fell down dead
Justice was served that day
