A Long Island Summer Day Ride

Woke up this morning
Thinking about my ride for today..
 
 
Only concern was Leave---
Facing what way???
 
 
Sunny & warm was the forcast
They say....
 
 
North,,, South,,, East or West???
Any way could be the best...
 
 
Flipping a coin should
Help me decide...
 
 
Eather way it lands
What a Great Day to ride...
 
 
HEADS----- East....
 
 
Leave for Montauk & watch the Sun Rise...
 
 
Breakfast at Gurneys,,
On the South side...
 
 
Zig Zag the Island,
The rest of the day...
 
 
Hit a few pubs,
And see friends along the way...
 
 
All of us hoping this day never ends.....
 
 
Some Join me at dusk,,
And we all head West..
 
 
Knowing we will see
 A Great Sun Set....
 
 
Over The Big Apple...
Now Man thats the best!!!
 
 
Then East back home,
Riding along Fire Island Beach...
 
 
Avoiding the Parkway,,
And All Of That Mess....
 
 
Thanks to Robert Moses,
And his Great Causway,,
Relieves all the Stress...
 
 
After crossing the two bridges
Back in Babylon...
 
 
It's a no brainer
As to what road to finish the ride on...
 
 
Getting closer to Home
I Think of Tomorrow.....
 
 
And Wonder what side of the coin
It Will Land On.....
