Riding Free Todd Bright tbrigh@fouke.swsc.k12.ar.us
There is a certain pride that comes from living in this country From the tallest mountains to the long, flat prairies Through long, cold desert nights and days filled with scorching heat I kept her in my mind and soul and felt her with each heartbeat I dreamed of days on my faithful bike riding the open road the flashing signs, the yellow line, as the wind through my hair blowed I remembered the trees, tall and green, reaching up to the blue sky I caught the flash of an eagles head as he soared no telling how high The sounds of America that sang out sweet and true kept me going all the way through I have a peace now that I have never known it comes to me like the sweetest of songs I've new eyes now, with which to see I've done my time, I've come home, and now I'm riding free
