Your candles' burnin' baby
Another year and you're finally "older" than me for a while.Another tear, and I still can see your smile.Another beer, and the memory lingers on.You'll never go,I'll always stay,we're be together again someday.I had you first, you slipped thru my fingers, but not thru my heart. You left, only to return ,you cut thru me like a dart.We made our baby, she looks like you,her eyes are brown, yours are blue. You're still part of us,we love you still. We hear your thunder,we always will.We love you "Rusty" nicknamed by Dad,he was the best ,as you,we ever had.You made time stand still when you were gone, then it rolled like lightening when you were home.We still have your hair I pulled from your beard, your shop rags you wiped your hog with, your Royal Crown bag you kept your drink in.Thats all we have of material sort, but you clip our chins and say "be good sports".I'll come back in a year or two,be good,be here......................Babe,we're waiting.Happy Birthday. You are missed.Much love and sorrow,CHARLIES FIRST...Jane,Lori and Shallan, for the "Big "T',Truman Adams.........May 27,1940-June 1996.
