I still don’t know how the bro died
but, from what ive read in 48 hours or so
I can see why hundreds, maybe
thousands
of my family
sat through rain hail wind
maybe some sun
for a "see ya in the wind someday"
one final time.

I never met you
but I think by what ive read
you had few enemies and many admirers;
I too missed Laconia last year-
had my right knee replaced
this year, I'm not there either
due to an acting out upon me of rage
that has halted my art and held me
captive and in fear-I saw no fear in your eyes
and on your neck, and I believe you lived those words.
I stared into those eyes,
and thank you-I may just rest easy tonight.
you reminded me I'm not alone,man.
a few things are for certain,my resting friend:
we might not believe in the same gods
but......
if I place my trust in my "gods' hands"
the dude who hurt me,
well-hes not going to get any fear out of this woman tonight.
